This month has been a fantastic month for Lifestyle property, with a record number of sales and a 10% traffic increase to our property listings. The most popular category for enquiries this month was Beach and Coastal Properties. There were 228 contact-agent page views in March and over 23,000 page views.
Housing prices in some of our most popular suburbs such as Jan Juc Victoria have challenged the downward trends this quarter with upwards trends and exceeding asking prices. [SOURCE: RP Data]
Country Real Estate
The last quarter has seen a good increase for country properties and lifestyle properties outside the metropolitan area. While the metropolitan growth averaged out at -1.05, the average price of country properties grew by 1.55% across Australia.
The trend can be seen in with housing prices in suburbs such as Jan Juc Victoria challenging the downward trends this quarter with strong growth. [SOURCE: RP Data] Mornington, VIC, also had a quarterly growth of 0.39% with an average of 7% increases on asking price.
